We are actively looking for a qualified Nurse Supervisor, to help in the oversight and assurance of a high quality of care to for all of our clients.

 
Primary Responsibilities

• Meet with potential clients and family members through scheduled Care Consultations to discuss care needs and provide solutions in the form of a service plan.
• Maintain and execute a measurable and inclusive Quality Assurance process that builds trust with each client, Caregiver, and local community healthcare provider.
• Plan, coordinate and execute Caregiver training and education sessions as well as any Community Workshops with local community partners and other Home Instead offices.

Qualifications

• RN or RPN with a minimum of 5 years experience in the Home and Community Care sector
• Actively registered with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO)
• Specialties in Geriatric Care, Rehabilitative Care, Palliative Care, Dementia Care would be an asset.
• LHIN/HCCSS experience preferred.
• Must possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record for the past 3 years.
• Must demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills, good assessment skills, effective interpersonal skills, and evidence of sound judgment and good decision-making.
• Ability to work independently, maintain confidentiality and meet key deadlines, organize and prioritize daily, monthly and quarterly deliverables.
• Canadian Citizen or Canadian Permanent Residency required.
• Must have good computer skills and be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Previous experience in a quality assurance role would be an asset.
• Must be able to meet mandatory COVID-19 vaccination corporate policy.
• Must be able to successfully complete a criminal and vulnerable sector background check.
